21st century - The Beginning Of Legalization

  • The prohibition of weed in America dates back to the early 20th century, but since 2000 there’s been a dramatic change in the way the country deals with pot. Public opinion on marijuana legalization has shifted dramatically, and politicians, pop culture and pot shops are working to keep pace.

  • Since 1970s, it has been reverting to cannabis medicinal applications in the United States, being allowed for a very small number of patients who have received approval from the Court Of Justice to consume cannabis as a treatment for their illnesses.

  • Against This Background, organizations that advocate for legalization of cannabis have received more and more support from the population. It is true that American states remain different in terms of the view of cannabis, and communities remain polarized on this subject. However, the young generations now and 10 years ago are increasingly supporting the legalization of this plant's use.
