Our team strengthens

We are pleased to announce that Tarmo from the community has joined our team as a part-time developer. He has been very active in the community since January of this year, and has impressed everyone with not just what he has built, but his work ethic and writing abilities too.

Tarmo is the creator of BB Odds (a point and click web interface for the Sports Betting Bot) and the currency converting calculator. He has also helped with translations and is a regular contributor to Byteball repositories on Github.

Buy when there's blood in the streets? Maybe better to build when there is blood on the streets!

New newsletter suggestions form

It’s challenging for the Byteball newsletter writers to keep track of everything that is happening. Various projects are being worked on, and updates are posted (or not) in various locations.

Please make this newsletter better by submitting any news you would like featured via this new form. This request is to everyone, community and the core team.

Tip: posting the news to the subreddit and submitting the url via the form is our preferred way to get your news included (in other words, it's more likely to be included if you do it this way).

Create your own hardware cosigner for Byteball (tutorial)

A new tutorial was created on how to create your own hardware cosigner for Byteball. Hardware cosigners provide an extra layer of security so that every transaction will need the consent of the hardware cosigner. The idea is similar to how hardware wallets like Ledger and Trezor function.

BB Fans

We discovered this beautiful Chinese website dedicated to Byteball. It's extremely encouraging to see people putting such effort into sharing the Byteball platform in their own faraway countries.

Translation updates for bots

All multilanguage bots in the Bot Store were updated with new translations.

WCGrid bot - 2 new languages (total 21 languages)
Sports betting bot - 4 new languages (total 18 languages)
Email attestation bot - 4 new languages (total 16 languages)
Username attestation bot - 7 new languages (total 15 languages)

A big thank you to our team of translators; more than 100 have worked on Byteball translations!
