Reflections for B&W Photo Contest
These are my three entries for the B&W photo contest by @daveks. The theme is ~ Reflections ~. Please join in the fun following the link below:
Walking to the meet-up in London, I could not pass without noticing these giants, one taller than the other. The development is a big part of the city. What has grabbed my attention in this composition, is the illusion of the four structures thanks to the reflection. It feels like a complete image.
Reflections are a subject that can occur anywhere. Even the sun can bounce off the mirror-like surfaces thus creating the reflection. But how about cars? These are great for catching your reflections thanks to the glossy finish. Two vehicles - double the joy!
The most favourable surface for reflections is water, what else? Give me the right conditions and voila! But then there is a difference between the night and day. The beauty of the night photography is the long exposure which brings all this light. And since the background is dark, the reflections, the lights stand out even more.
