WHEN WILL YOU START POWERING DOWN?
When are you powering down? This is a question a fellow steemian asked me on discord channel yesterday.

He said that after @ned made the announcement that he laid off 70% of his workforce, he didn't see any future for steemit again. He was basically painting a bleak future for steemit and so he was powering down and leaving steemit.
Yah, no doubt, steemit is really in crisis and from several posts I have seen from some steemians who understand steemit very well, things are not looking good for steemit right now, but they still believe that steemit can survive if the relevant hands are on deck to solve the problem.
Couple with the bear market in the cryptocurrency space that has been on for a longtime now, is making people call it quit on cryptocurrency.
Am not oblivious about the problem steem is facing right now,, but powering down still hasn't come to my mind has an option for me.
But since then he has kept asking me when will I start powering down and I find it irritating and so to get him off my back, I told him that I will start powering down when steem is $50. Hehehehehe!!!!

Yes, I believe this too.
I just believe in one thing! Only we can make Steemit survive the crises and I still see a good future for it. Maybe we should work together on the problems and try to solve them. Keep posting and not give up that early.
I have no plans to power down until next year, because I still believe to see Steem at 10$

Well I see that you aren't on discord, but short answer is, I do believe it wise to get at least some of our steem liquid, so that we can respond to changing currents. But staying mostly invested in a form that can increase influence on the platform is also wise, as there is still a tremendous amount of momentum behind everything being created here.
Yah, I agree with you @indigoocean. We need to take some of our liquid steem out has profit.
