YOU'RE A MEME! On a serious note though, this is something that I've seen coming up for a while with blockchain based games. I'd rather see things like currencies and skins on the blockchain that tie into traditional games through a decentralized marketplace kind of like what a lot of the online sites did CS:GO gambling and trading. That way there's really no logical reason to why the items would need to change or be adjusted as it's just cosmetic. The only thing I could really see happening I suppose would be a copyright claim on a skin, but I suppose that's a reasonable and acceptable risk in my mind.

You will end up with legal problems. Blockchains main advantage on this front is that its permissionless thus I can hold my hands up and say I don't take responsibility with what people do with my game items. Otherwise, its mostly just the same thing as traditional gaming.

But Valve can get into legal trouble if they were to openly allow real money trade for CSGO weapon skins. They mostly crack down on it because they dont have the luxury to say "lol I had nothing to do with that!"....
