Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) barriers to enter Rohingyas again

Rohingyas are trying to infiltrate from Myanmar with Teknaf border in Cox's Bazar. On Friday morning, about 20 Rohingyas tried to enter the Shahpiar Island border on Teknaf through two boats. Most of them are women and children.

Teknaf-2 Border Guard Battalion Deputy Commander Major Shariful Islam Jummadar said, "Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) will be able to resist the crossing of Shahpiar Island while trying to infiltrate Bangladesh through the border with a few Rohingya Nafs rivers. Border Guard Bangladesh has been strengthened in Myanmar border to prevent drug trafficking. Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) is carrying out duties with utmost care on the border.

Residents of the border said that on Friday morning, about 20 Rohingya crossed the Naf river through two boats from Myanmar and tried to enter Bangladesh on the outskirts of Shahpari island of Teknaf.
