POEM: PLUSH AND PRUNED

Always cresting
Ever onward

As the pressing
Plant grows skyward

Snipping scissors
Came to prune

Doubling buds
May to June

Budding flowers
Will ascend

From the place
Seeds are spent

Seems this growing
Glows your eyes

Beaming light
In smiling skies
