POEM: LAST NIGHT
Last night as the pressed fog
Coined another Halloween
The streets with wet moon light
Kept us between
The homes lit and full
Of candy, so engrained
That in any year
We recite the bounty
By hearts, my child, your idea
Reminds me of
The glow and gunpowder
From the cinema hero
We dress to scare
We don and dare
The vision of terror
As a unit or pair
