Cake Heaven at the Awesome “Patisserie Valerie” / 老牌蛋糕连锁店 “Patisserie Valerie”

On the weekend @ezzy and I had a stroll through Holland Park and on the way back, we walked past one of our favourite cake shops, “Patisserie Valerie”.

"Patisserie Valerie" is a chain of cafes in the UK who specialize in an exquisite range of handmade fresh cakes, also offering breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea on premises. This place, no joke, is literal cake heaven. If you love cake, you've got to come here. Below are a few images from their website:

I love cakes served here and had ordered a couple for @ezzy’s birthday, lol. Strawberry Gateau is our favourite. The vanilla sponge layered with fresh cream and fresh strawberries, finished with roasted almonds on top, is incredible. The cakes are all hand-crafted with care, lovingly decorated and absolutely gorgeous!

@ezzy and I were looking at each other and thinking the same thing. Well, it’s neither of our birthdays but we wanted that sumptuous cake so badly, we ended up buying the entire 6 inches cake that was supposed to cater for 4-6 people, haha!

This deliciously smooth strawberry cake is extra creamy, with that yummy vanilla flavour bursting with fresh strawberries and whipped cream. It left me speechless, a true taste of heaven!

Not sure how was your weekend but ours was full of sugary sweetness, lol!

上周末 @ezzy 和我去荷兰公园散步。在回家的路上，我们经过最喜爱的蛋糕店“Patisserie Valerie”。

“Patisserie Valerie”是英国超好吃的老牌蛋糕连锁店，主打自家手工制作的新鲜蛋糕和精致传统西点。店里还提供早餐，午餐和下午茶哦。蛋糕店靠着大街上橱窗里摆满了各种各样的甜点，包括黑森林蛋糕，拿破仑和芝士蛋糕，每次我经过会被馋得口水都要掉下来！我在他们家网上截了几张图给你们看，呵呵。

在众多得甜品中，这里得生日蛋糕是最赞。我就在这里为@ ezzy订过好几次生日蛋糕，哈哈！向大家隆重介绍一款我们最爱的 Strawberry Gateau！柔软的香草味蛋糕配搭着新鲜的奶油和草莓，再加上烤制过的杏仁粒，简直是绝配。

很搞笑的是@ezzy和我情不自禁地看着对方，心里头都有着同样的想法！那天虽然不是我们的生日，但我们还是把整个6英寸的蛋糕买了回家！这是店里建议4 到6个人的份量，我们胃口似乎比较大，哈哈！

一口咬下去，蛋糕轻盈绵密，而且有弹性。奶油加草莓更是绝配，真是超级好吃！我们吃到都停不下来，呵呵。
