On work concentration -- Relaxation is the key to concentration.

Ironically, when people know they must concentrate on a task, they would often fidget and fail because they make the mstake of stressing it so much, and concentrating on concentration. They focus on the mechanism of getting the job done rather than the job itself, and the result is anxiety over task, and they lose it all together. This, of course, leads to further distractions.

Here are some cool ways you could shake off the thought of doing things wrong and relax.

Whatever rocks your boat!

Recognize the kinda thinker you are. Some thinkers, unlike others, have the ability to focus broadly and juggle between ideas at a go. For others, they work better by narrowing-down on a single project at hand, and focusing on one aspect of the problem. whatever works for you, try to take only tasks that match your abilities.

Clear your space.

Make sure you've got a pretty nice workstation, that's not clogged up and congested with stuff you don't need. Stuff you won't be needing could likely serve as distractions, and keep you from being your best. A paper here and there, food packs and stuff. Even your mobile phone might pose some sorta distraction. Also, on distractions, you might wanna work in a quiet and less noisy environment, to help you focus. Again, keep your stations clear, or I will hit you!

Take your time.

Don't be afraid to take a little longer to finish a task. If the aim isn't just about quantity, you might wanna take the time to ensure quality in your work. Good concentration doesn't necessarily mean you will work faster. Take a few breaks if you have to, don't keep at it if you're feeling sleepy already, you are much likely to lose concentration and end up making mistakes. The key is to being relaxed while at your best, and remember; quality first.

You do need short breaks.

Like i earlier mentioned, You need to be your whole self if you're gonna be concentrated and invested at the max. If you notice concentration slips during a project, then perhaps you're in dire need of a break or a nap if you're working from home. Boost your adrenaline by taking a short walk, exercising, meditating or onboarding others who wouldn't ordinarily be involved. It works. Also, you might wanna keep your ipod within reach, since music could just be your thing. Who knows, right?

Don't sweat it too much.

Avoid thinking of the consequences of not getting the job done on time. This can be overwhelming and could make you think of what you've not done rather than what you're doing. Rather, focus your attention on what it is you're up to at the moment and make sure you're doing it right. So that in the end, it comes out a masterpiece when you're done.

In seizing your day and maintaining your concentration at the max, you wanna relax! Do it sublimely, do it calmly, do it relaxed!
