How do you do.....things?
The act of doing is one I respect dearly. Is there really anything made by man that didn’t come to be because of actions taken. It is the supposed resultant effect of decision-making. It is also one of those things people rarely do: taking action after making decisions, most especially when it has to do with things rarely done.
Nevertheless, some people have overcome that habit of procrastination , they’ve moved forward in life by facing their fears and taking action in respective quarters of their life. Yet, that is not enough; there is one more thing to. We have to be mindful of how we go about what we do.
Being a soldier alone is an act of bravery on its own, yet some come out of wars more decorated than the others because of the way they went about their acts.
There are different ingredients that make the act of living a good soup for historical consumption.
Many people have acted, yet failed, not because they did the wrong things, but because they did the
right things wrongly or did the right things well but with wrong timing. Now, we can see how important it is to be mindful of what we do, how we do them and when we do them and sometimes, to whom we do them, although that is out of context in this case.
Watching those that have gone before us in similar endeavors could act as guide for us on how we go about doing things. It is better to even get close and know more because sometimes, what we see is not what it really is on the inside.
More so, being smart, calculative and intelligent plays a great role in helping us make long and short decisions along our route of actions, thus helping us to arrive as at more rewarding destination.

Actions have a lot of role to play in making a man, you're right, nothing a man has been and will be can be done without action.
But your analogy of the soldiers on the war, am yet to fully comply with that, I personally believe it's a different ball game on the battle field.
