A few reasons why I like to post on Busy and a simple question. Why doesn't Steemit follow Busy's example?

Hello everyone!

It is a beautiful Saturday night here in Greece and since I didn't feel like going out tonight (actually I got back from sea a couple of hours back) I decided to write down a few reasons why I like to post through Busy.org instead of Steemit.com

Interface

I think Busy's interface is way more user friendly and all your options seem to be in the right place

Activity

Well...this is a huge difference these two platforms have. Next to wallet there is an extra option Activity that allows you to do and track down almost everything. Your upvotes, your downvotes, your unvotes, to see those you followed or unfollowed your replies and your resteems

And when it comes to finance...oh boy! You can search and find everything from rewards to transfers since the day you registered! Pretty useful to reveal 2nd or 3rd and so on accounts of some users through financial records.

Upvote

It is no secret that Busy.org upvotes its users when they post through Busy once a day. And the weight of this upvote is calculated by the total amount of SP your followers have. Not you but your followers.

Being online(?)

Now I also think that there is also a recent change. If you look at the picture below you will notice a green dot. It seems that this dot indicates if a user is online at the moment since it is not on everyone. Even though I am not 100% sure about that, if that is the case I think it is really useful in cases you want to interact with a specific user.

These are a few of the reasons why I prefer Busy. And here is the one million dollar question.

Since Steemit.inc is the largest stakeholder with 44 million SP ( with almost 15% of the circulation supply) why doesn't it upvote its users the same way Busy does? With that amount of SP Steemit could practically upvote everyone of the daily users.
Isn't it a shame that such an amount of SP is locked up doing nothing?

I want to hear your thoughts on that. Which of these two you prefer? Or do you use a different app?
As always feel free to comment below!

Until next time...
Stay awesome!

I have tried #busy.org before but I quite do not
find it easy.
Maybe I could say the same for #steemit at first.
You know, thanks for the advise I will focus more on #busy.org and they upvote good content too.
Keep on busy

If you post via Busy a couple of times I am sure you'll find it piece of cake eventually. It is not just for the upvote, but the whole interface seems way better to me...
But hey...that's just me.

It's maybe because Busy.org reminds me of facebook or maybe just because I still didn't get used to it... I post mainly on Steemit, although I've pyt a banner to Busy on my website...
Now you inspired me to make a new post from Busy again ;)

Well give it a shot and let me know the results!

Yep! Busy.org upvoted me with 1.18% ~ $0.02, like 16 minutes after posting :) I guess it's because of not having whale and dolphin followers, but it's still good! :) Last time I posted with Busy forgot to put the "busy" tag as first and missed the upvote...

Good! Always use the busy tag and remember to post again after your previous post copletes the 24 hour mark! Now imagine if Steemit did the same...
Shame...

Yes. Hopefully they'll do it in time...

I use Steemit, never used Busy.org, but another user recommended it, and you may have just closed the deal for me.

Sounds much better.

Is Steemit's SP really locked up doing nothing? Not even delegated? If so, that's a nonsensical inefficient waste of resources.

It's a hot evening here in the UK too. I just left the Globe theatre where I saw a performance of Othello. A good rather than a great version. I might have preferred a dip in the sea. :)

Well yeah...there are 44 mil Sp on Steemit's account and just sit there. While they could perform the same way Busy does with only 500K delegation and earn tons of curation rewards too.Just imagine the number. 90x times Busy's delegation....Busy and some other Daps too seem like the wise choice at the moment.

Hmm Othello...classic and always in fashion!
