Peace Towards All
Hebrews 12:14 Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:
The peace of God is contagious, thus every believer in Christ is a peace career. Although we have been given Christ's peace, we must consciously choose to be at peace with everyone around us. There are people who will never want peace with us irrespective of how we seek peace with them. The Lord says "follow peace with all" not force peace on all. This is wisdom! It's a personal exhibition of peaceful disposition about how we deal with people without necessarily involving them. It calls for ignoring every advances of conflict and letting go of every avenue of problems with people. Do not let what people do to distort your peace towards them, just ignore who you need to ignore and the peace of God in your heart shall continue to flourish. This is about us, not others.
Peace is closely linked to holiness and without holiness we can't experience the presence of God. No man can be holy without the peace of God. No man can be holy while having quarrel or grudges against people. People's offense is not a justification for grudges or anger. We have been called to be different and our difference in Christ should not be controlled by people's action. Let the peace of God reign in your heart today.

Heavenly Father, the author of peace, thank you for your peace in us. Please forgive us for bearing grudges against people, give us the grace to follow peace with people around us, in Jesus name. Amen.
