Coming back to Self

And when he came to himself, he said, How many hired servants of my father's have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger! — Luke 15:17 (KJV).

One of the greatest lessons from the prodigal son is that he finally came to himself. Most times 'self' wanna settle down with mediocre life. The 'self' don't wanna lay down the weights of sinful lust and addictions to move out of the comfort zones of dinning with pigs and dying in hunger. Self is comfortable with ordinary Christian life. Self hates growth. Self hates sacrifice. Self is lazy and is full of stubbornness. Self is the sinful nature that rebels against transformation. Self is an enemy of a life in Christ and it always exist unnoticed. Today I decree deliverance from self in Jesus's name. Amen.

For self to be defeated, we must come to it personally and expose the dangers it brings and it's deprivation of our enjoyment of the Father's presence. We must get ready to take the risk of going back to God despite any possible guilt portrayed by 'self'. We must arise from the piggery of mediocrity to receive the warm embrace of the Father in the kingdom. It's time to arise. I don't know what it takes but the risks is worth it.

In a bit to arise,we might risk losing our relationship,business,certificate,money,friends,etc. Brethren,if what we seek to achieve is keeping us with the pigs ( sinful life) ,then we must abandon it. Nothing is worth trading with God's presence,love and the kingdom. Nothing can be compared to the feast of God's kingdom awaiting our glorious arrival. Do not allow self to deprive you of these heavenly luxuries. There's so much abundance in Christ Jesus that even extends to the satisfaction of servants. It's an error for the sons to make do with piggery foods and suffer hunger, while the servants are enjoying the kingdom foods and luxuries. It's time for the sons to arise. We are the sons of God and angels are the servants.

Come to Christ today just as you are,for there's enough room to accommodate you. No matter your mess or mistakes come. I hear the Spirit say 'come'. I speak strength and boldness upon our lives as we keep moving forward in our Christian race. God bless you.
