TIL: What Busy.org is working on and WHY it will BLOW OUR STEEMING MINDS!

in #busy7 years ago

At first I believed busy was "just" another steemit front-end, but after getting schooled by some really dedicated @busy.org people and urged to watch this video I have come to realise that... THIS IS HUGE!!

This is what Busy.org is building:

After watching this video, I asked - how long time will it take you guys to deliver this to the market, and the guy answered that it will be delivered this summer (June, July or August? 2017) which made me extremely confident in the future.

Now that you too have watched this video, please tell me what YOU think in the comments below.

Join me and hundreds of other active steemians on SteemSpeak Discord and be heard and seen - or just listen and read :)

Steem is about to get Busy

Brb buying a crap load of steem...

Busy is building skynet?

ha ha ... are they??
There are so many unanswered questions -- we need more details about what parts of WeChat they are duplicating?
Steem wants to rule the whole world?
Should I be glad that I'm in early because I can become one of the super rich elites,
or should I run for the hills and hide in a cave before Steem can start tracking my every move?

Skynet did not have the blockchain. If it did, it would of been unstoppable. No central control to blow up.

Swiss Army App. If Busy can reward the user, all the better.

How does busy reward the user?

On top of Steem earned on Steemit?

They are linked.
STEEM = $dollar
Paypal, Venmo, cash.me, all use $dollars.
Steemit.com and Busy.com both pay in $teeem.

Two different platforms that do the same thing and run on the same blockchain. I think I said that right.

But Busy is about to do a lot more.

busy.org = wechat - orwellian nightmare = steem powered internet = holy cow steem price = the world is about to change

If it's coming this summer, this is the most exciting piece of news I've heard since I heard about Bitcoin.

What about PRIVACY???? :O

This is scary; does Busy have anything to say about privacy?

😄😇😄

@creatr

It is steem-backed not china-backed. Lol.

Can you elaborate I hate watching videos

lol - Love the lazy here. Nicely done.

pure hype, wont work in western world, works in china because of dense population and non-diversified culture

The app has probably millions of commerce and services subscribed to it, so it's very diversified, the fact that it is in one app doesn't mean there is no choice. I don't get your point about dense population...

People use this for convenience and merchants use it to advertise their product in a new viral way so it will work in any country.

The only way to bootstrap a social media site that could rival giants like facebook is by building this kind of multi apps. Merchants and services will have an incentive to connect to the social media site to benefits from the user base, then the more apps the more users you get and it can snowball from there.
Do you know when twitter and facebook network effect started to kick in? It was when they developed their own API.

yes, there is money in apps, but the type of app featured in this video would not work in the USA. In a democratic society everything is naturally more fragmented as people have more freedom of choice, and would exercise their freedom by not doing everything in one single app.

Nobody is forced to use the app and it provides a lot of choice. The video is misleading as it gives this impression that you have to use the same services over and over again when in fact there are millions of them.

it only has to work in china for steem to moon.

that is true... but why would it even work in china?

I have to agree, that I don't see that Busy.org is bringing any real new features or promotion to steemit...

What does WeChat have to do with Busy.org, why are Busy mirroring my dTube and Steemit posts and why should I authorize them to access my posting and earning rights? And also who granted dTube permission to make my original videos downloadable to the general public?

It's awesome that your bring this up. I hadn't heard that part.
