Debido a cazas ilegales para traficar el marfil de sus colmillos aproximadamente 30.000 elefantes mueren al año.
Los elefantes entierran a sus muertos. Si como lo lees, a veces entierran a sus muertos o los cubren con hojas, muestran pena y duelo cuando un miembro de la familia muere.
