The Administrator of the forum Bitcoin-Bulgaria said:

"Last night all the banks in Bulgaria blocked the accounts of companies whose activities are connected with the purchase and sale of bitcoins. They also banned transfers to international exchanges. Within a few days a meeting of the Bulgarian Bitcoin Association will be held, where we will present recommendations and a plan for further action to the community. "

Managing Director of the telecommunications company Neterra, Neven Dilkov added:

"The OBB (United Bulgarian Bank) reported a few days ago that it closes our accounts for trading crypto-currencies. After talking with one of the bank's leaders, I realized that this is the owner's decision, and not the regulator's demand. Then we talked with Societe Generale and Piraeus - both banks have no problems with companies working with crypto currency. "

Such problems have already been notified by local crypto-exchange firms.

Earlier it was reported that the government of Belarus plans to legalize crypto-currencies.

Why would a bank owner do that if it is not illegal? I think that owner just made an unnecessary problem for his bank.

Maybe it was the government's intervention. They could "ask" banks to do this.

Can't wait when everyone is using Crypto and third party financial authorities are no longer needed!

That will never happen. It shouldn't happen.

I can get the it will never happen part but why shouldn't it happen?

Because the Jungle Law will be in force. No regulations means anarchy.

Being your own banker, full control of your money, and privacy (My varied interest is disturbing) is why I am here on steemit and into crypto.

We just have agree to disagree then.

:p

Governments should embrace it, not fight it. It's a great way for Bulgarian companies to do international business. This is all wrong
