Meet The 6-Year-Old YouTube Millionaire

Some people have all the luck – but sometimes, you can’t help but admire them. Ryan, age 6, might barely be out of diapers, but there’s no doubting that he’s one of the richest kids on the block thanks to his YT channel, which you’ve probably headof: Ryan ToyReviews.

As you might expect, the elementary school kid has a cool job, and one that definitely make him the kid that everyone wants to be friends with. Not only this, but he’s making an incredible stack of revenue doing so: $11m just this past year!

That’s a lot of money for Candy, and something that should make all of us realize just how lucrative YT is. Alright, so Ryan’s just the front of the show and his parents and family are doing much of the grunt work behind the scenes, but that doesn’t make this achievement any less impressive.

What’s incredible is seeing how quickly the channel went from zero to hero. Before July 2015, it was a pretty unremarkable channel – but when the video of Ryan opening a box with 100 “Cars” (Pixar) toys, the internet fell in love and the rest is pretty much history.

With over 10m subscribers today, Ryan is getting $1m a month just from advertising, and that doesn’t include lucrative sponsorship deals with businesses interested in influencer marketing the best way: with the world’s youngest, most prolific toy reviewer.

Now, you might be a little too old to follow in Ryan’s footsteps, but there’s a great lesson here for all of us that marketing can make anyone big – it’s all just a question of working until the moment finally arrives.
