The provision of information to customers is very crucial and it should not be perceived as having a lower value or worth. If there is anything that serves as an encouragement for customers to buy and to get the best out of the service being provided, that thing is information. As such, businesses should not hesitate to obtain and accept information from the client with a reverse relationship in the form of feedback surveys and customer satisfaction.

  3. The basic requirement to assist customers to adapt their usage in a continuous manner: At the outlets of Ryder, additional products and services were made available by Ryder so as to make sure that each outlet are not messy due to their strong sense of commitment and corporate identity to the service of customers. These included information about the details of longer-term discount rates and the positice effect of making use Ryder’s towing equipment.

Ryder placed a customer satisfaction survey in each truck cab to closely monitor the positive effect or advantages of these measures to customers. Aside that the satisfaction of customers is been checked, these measures give a significant or interesting detail of the renewed commitment of Ryder to service, that serves as an improvement for furture sales prospects. This particular approach asisted Ryder to return its business to effectiveness and profitability. Looking at the situations of Ryder critically, we would see how important it is to carry out the empowerment of customers for a successful business. Due to this, let us go through the things we need to put into practice when empowering your customers. I will be giving three key points below:

  • Do make sure that easily available informations concerning the various products and services are provided to existing and potential customers and satisfy the offers of your customers efficiently and effectively.

  • Make sure that feedback are gotten from customers to have a prior knowlegde of whether they are satisfied or not satisfied with your products or services. Doing this will also make your customers view your company as a company that is customer focused.

  • You should give your customers the opportunities to make use of your products. They should be provided with information intended for the purpose of instruction, for teaching. You need to also provide them with online guides, ideas, people to engage in conversation with and anything that will give the customers more confidence and/or strength and help them modify or remodel your product to their needs.
