I am a miner of burst olso and I have a 4 TB setup to mine it. I find it fun and in the same time safe because there is no noise and almost zero consumption.
I mine it 2 months now and my cpu stay at 1% usage, when I discover a block it goes to a maximum of 15% and of course HDD is used in that time.
So In conclusion I am happy about burst and excited about new stuff in burst.

Hey @cynetyc, thank you for the nice welcome! I have 23TB of total mining power which is mining for my asset. I also love the fact that its mineable with little resources taken up. I have been in the community for just over a month now! Do you mind explaining how Steem works? I will also give you a follow as you seem an interesting person with things in common! :)

I started from July and I started to write. I dont mine steem for the moment but I need some better equipment.
That being said I told to myself to have some fun so ....I started to write and read a lot of guides here on steemit:
Those are good guides that can help you to start mining if you want.
And here I can add some more:
Hold in you account more than 300 Steem and you can upvote by using more or less voting power.
This is good because if you vote more than 1 time with 100% power , your power will decrease ...not in value--the value will reamain the same...but in influence.
It is a bad side olso for the writers because all of us want to be voted 100% power, But for this I found I simple solution...just make a few votes per day lets say 3-4 max that are 100%.
Other users chose to vote one time per week and in that day the make many votes and than wait to grow again.

About that I olso am curios about making a working petabyte (but a cheap one not like they abvertise on the web) mining setup for BURST.
Sadly I dont have so much time to spend for this but when I am free I am thinking about this...
