Cat Doodle (Colouring pencils on paper)

Hello again!

Here's a little cat doodle I drew recently! It looks a bit scruffy but that's what I was going for haha.

I love when cats look silly or dishevelled. I'm not really sure what my favourite kind of cat is..... orange cats are funny though :) Maybe my favourite cats are black cats and orange cats??? Not sure! I love them all!

I drew this after taking our cat to the vet, they're ok, it was just for a check up and nail trim!

Here's some process pictures.

I used erasable colouring pencils, black biro, watercolour markers and some sketchbook paper.

I wasn't putting much pressure on myself with this doodle as I just wanted to finish a drawing! I've occasionally dipped in and out of art block recently so just forcing myself to get a doodle out really helps!

I absolutely love cats, I love drawing & doodling cats! I think they're so cute and silly, you can really play around and experiment with different shapes!

I think next time I do a doodle I'll try with thicker, better quality paper. This paper was too thin and smooth so I don't think the pencils showed up so well and the ink was a bit too heavy for this paper.
