it looks more and more as an attempt to silence certain type of news . I would not be surprised if this guy works for the deep state

we were making progress smidge. This makes me a bit sad I have to say...

just expressing my opinion , I am not rude to him

I guess it might be my personal bias, because I don't like the state, so when I see someone calling someone else part of the deep state, it sounds rude.

But, Im the one who is not a fan of the government, I can't impose my views on you, that would not be fair.

we all see what is happening nowadays . if you brand news articles as spam that could easily mean you have some agenda here ...

i checked that account myself... it seems to be posting 60+ times a day... so it's spamming... I don't think that's up for debate.

I know times are different now, but there was a time, long before most got here, when we could only post 5 times a day. The blockchain back then had a more constraining way of preventing spam, but it got taken off, I still don't know why to be honest.

But, all cryptocurrencies attempt to curve spam, because it hurts the network's scalability. If we were dealing with let's say BitcoinCash, because you can blog on their blockchain btw. The cost of the transactions would make a spammer not do it... But here, since it's "free" people tend to abuse it.

let the people decide for themselves what is good and what is bad ,
that is only way going forward in my opinion .
maybe you agree with what he is doing , but what are we going to do when more 'markymarks' show up here ? all of them with their own 'spam rules' bots and flags ?

we have different approaches, markymark and I... i mean, i've not put the amount of money he has into the system, he's invested more than my house is worth into steem, but i've put enough in that it makes me worry about my investment.

So, when I see spammers, people trying to farm money for low effort, not adding any value, i get a little bit protective too.

Let me level with you.. my 32 thousand dollars became 7k - meanwhile there are these accounts copy pasting youtube videos getting paid.. my investment getting diluted.

Granted, I don't react in anger, I don't flag unless someone is toxic or offensive to someone I care about, but I do let them know.

Hey, this money is coming from people like me.. please do your part to add value to this place, and if you do, i'll be happy to support your efforts.

But on the other hand if someone comes here with the "take take take" mentality, I can't support that.

I think I'm making sense, dont you?

of course it is not spamming, it's a news channel that reports on what's happening in the middle east. when there are many things happening there's lots to report about. it is not that mainstream media spin a different story or keep quiet about this that nothing is happening there. it is a disgrace that channels like these are targetted and branded as spammers on this platform.

In this post of Al-Masdar News @ipromote gives an upvote to the @badcontent "stamp" reply:

So it's a guy or a cercle or a group of people purpously trying to discredit a certain type of news.

Comparable to shadowbanning on Twitter.

The silence from those behind these accounts when it comes to posts like this, when asking for the reason of compromising the reputation of some accounts like AMN is also troublesome.

it is one person , he owns all those bots

Hi folks, just saw this post and since I am the subject I figured I would chime in.
@themarkymark & @meno I am saddened by the fact that you do not see AMNs posts as adding value, it is news coverage by people that invests a lot of time following the events in MENA reporting on what happens on the ground by people on the ground.
Steemit was brought to my attention by people on our news site proposing that we start publishing here as a way to circumvent the silly amount of effort put into trying to bring down our main site by way of cyber attacks. A lot of people do not like our coverage.
I really do not think you guys are for censorship in any way and are only concerned with your investment, something I can relate to and appreciate.
News is ill suited to a max 5 posts a day format as it will evolve regardless and to cover it we need to post more frequently.
I have not seen any other major publications on here and I have understood that people really would like there to be, can you perhaps see past the "spam" label and see that it is important for those interested in the subject matter of the posts for a full and exhaustive coverage?
I would love to improve the service so if you have the time feel free to point out any improvements that needs to be done.

This user is on the @buildawhale blacklist for one or more of the following reasons:

  • Spam
  • Plagiarism
  • Scam or Fraud

A lot of this stuff is automated. Have you contacted him instead of accusing him of being part of some "deep state?" Most people who start accusing this are using mentally unstable conspiracy theorists rofl.

But anyways, it might have been put on one of the many steemit blacklists because of the amount of posts this accounts produces.

Just my 2 cents....

A couple of weeks ago I made a stupid/funny reaction on @badcontent "stamping" Al-Masdar News and what happened was that @themarkymark put me also on this @buildawhale "blacklist". So he's well aware of what is happening. If this guy reacts, all he does is put some silly meme gif as an "answer".

Here is some "good content" by this "high profile" steemit "witness"

I have been on fora where people like him would have been banned.
