-=- This video is an excellent watch for any new Steemians and even some experienced ones. It deals with the etiquette and successful practices of good Steemit content creators, such as strong advice to post your own original content and have conversations with any commentors. I was saying "EXACTLY!" through most of this video: as a curator, I would love for every Steemian to follow @brandonfrye 's advice. My favorite line: "This is a community, not a place to just build your bank account." @brandonfrye also includes a nice overview tutorial describing how to do some basic STEEM and STEEM POWER maintenance with the ethical/user implications. -=-

-=- While there may be a select few who would disagree with this post, it is truth to how steem works. @barteksiama writes about his speculation on the price increase of steem and SBD in relation to the downvotes coming from @haejin, @berniesanders and many others. While I have received my fair share of downvotes from this “feud,” I have also given out my share as well. But the point being this. Downvoting can be beneficial to the platform when done correctly. It adds a lot of value to other deserving posts by one person giving up his upvote and taking away upvotes value from another.-=-
