Brave Browser Ads now available in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland: Earn crypto while browsing the web 😃

Seit Ende Oktober gibt es die Brave Browser Ads jetzt auch in 20 weiteren Ländern, darunter auch Österreich und die Schweiz. Davor waren Brave Ads nur in einigen wenigen Ländern wie den USA und Deutschland verfügbar.

Brave ist ein Chromium-basierter Browser, der das Problem mit der Online-Werbung mit einer Kryptowährung (BAT) und Micropayments lösen möchte.

Einerseits verwenden die meisten User bereits Ad Blocker, um aufdringliche Werbung zu blockieren, andererseits spionieren sowohl die großen Web-Browser-Hersteller als auch viele Webseiten die Benutzer permanent aus.

Dieses Problem löst Brave, indem es einen Ad Blocker und ein Privacy-Schutzschild in seinen Browser von Haus aus integriert hat. Weiters bietet Brave die Möglichkeit, eigene Werbung außerhalb des Browsers als OS-Benachrichtigung anzuzeigen. Die Einnahmen werden dann zwischen den Webseiten, die man am häufigsten besucht hat und den Benutzern selbst aufgeteilt. Es gibt also eine kleine Belohnung in Form einer Kryptowährung, wenn man ein Werbemedium ansieht.

Ich teste den Browser seit einer Woche als Hauptbrowser und habe bis jetzt genau eine Werbung ausgespielt bekommen und dafür 0.1 BAT (ca. 2 Cent) verdient :) Finde das Konzept genial und bin gespannt, wie sich Brave und das Ad-Business im Internet weiterentwickeln wird.

Brave setzt im Moment auf Ethereum und zeigt das Potential von Kryptowährungen und Micropayments auf. In Zukunft würde ich mir von Brave auch die Integration von weiteren Wallets zum Beispiel für das Bitcoin Lightning Network, EOS und Steem wünschen. Habt ihr Brave schon ausprobiert? Since the end of October, Brave Browser Ads are now also available in 20 more countries, including Austria and Switzerland. Previously, Brave Ads were only available in a few countries such as the U.S. and Germany.

Brave is a Chromium-based browser that aims to solve the problem of online advertising with a cryptocurrency (BAT) and micropayments.

On the one hand, most users are already using ad blockers to block intrusive ads, while on the other, both the major web browser manufacturers and many websites are constantly spying on users.

Brave solves this problem by integrating an ad blocker and privacy protection shield right into its browser. Furthermore, Brave offers the possibility to display own advertisements outside the browser as OS notifications. The revenue is then divided between the websites,the user most visted, and the users themselves. So there is a small reward in the form of a cryptocurrency, if you opt-in ads and receive an ad.

I've been testing the browser as my main browser for a week now and so far I've seen exactly one ad and earned 0.1 BAT (about 2 cents) :) The concept of the browser is awesome and I am curious, how Brave and the online ad business will evolve in the future.

Brave is currently focusing on Ethereum and shows the potential of cryptocurrencies and micropayments. In the future, I would also like Brave to integrate more wallets, for example for the Bitcoin Lightning Network, EOS and Steem. Have you tried Brave already? How do you like the concept?
