IBM stable coins

in #brainfeed5 years ago

When JPM came out with an 'internal' coin to be used just by them the whole internet asked "what for".

Now IBM are planning to creat a coin/payment method, except they are going to base it on Stellar XLM.

The question is why? Why creat a new version of the same thing?

The only answer can be "ownership", of the coin and the system
So who owns IBM?

The banking cartel really are loosing the plot.

IBM has actually been using XLM in some really innovative cross-border financial transaction networks for over a year, please see my article here: https://steemit.com/cryptocurrency/@hongro888/ibm-uses-stellar-xlm-to-solve-real-world-problem

IBM isn't re-inventing XLM, they are merely using dAPPs to create a stablecoin that is a necessary component of trading ecosystems.
