Pacquiao and McGregor in talks for April fight

There’s a possibility that a huge fight between boxing Hall of Famer Manny Pacquiao and UFC megastar Conor McGregor could take place next year.
Pacquiao has revealed he and his team have been in contact with McGregor, and have already had preliminary talks about a possible fight in April.
Pac Man, a senator in his native Philippines, was asked in an interview on Friday if he had approached McGregor's representatives about a fight.
"Initially," Pacquiao said. "But we have not yet had any follow-up conversations. If we can negotiate it, I have no problem. It is OK with both of us."
It’s common knowledge that Pacquiao wants to fight McGregor, after he posted a message on Twitter that hinted at a possibile meeting with the Irish man.
The tweet stated: "Happy Thanksgiving! Stay fit my friend. #realboxingmatch #2018 @thenotoriousmma."
Pacquiao, 39, hung his gloves up in 2016 before coming out of retirement to win the title again from American Jessie Vargas, before losing it again to Jeff Horn of Australia earlier this year. It is known that Pacquiao doesn’t intend to hang his gloves up again so soon. And a fight against McGregor would be a box office smash.
McGregor has not fought in MMA or boxing since losing to Floyd Mayweather by a 10th-round technical knockout in their bout in Las Vegas in August.
Pacquiao, who has won eight world championships in different weight divisions, stressed McGregor is just one of many possible opponents and the fight has to happen before April during the Senate recess in the Philippines.
Pacquiao lost to Jeff Horn this year
Aside from McGregor, Pacquiao could also have a rematch with Horn or a fight with 29-year-old American Keith Thurman who holds the WBA Super welterweight title and the WBC welterweight title.
Let’s hope these two can agree to terms. McGregor was outclassed by Mayweather, but Pacquiao has been declining for a few years now, so it could make it interesting. Sure, the Pac Man would be the favourite, but at 39, he’s slowing down, and the speed and power of McGregor could surprise him. We await with anticipation.

McGregor needs to defend his belt against Tony Ferguson, that's the only fight that makes sense for him right now! Then the third fight with Diaz and I've got a feeling GSP/McGregor will be in talks at some point, I don't wanna see him box again, the Mayweather fight was fun but he's got a belt to defend in the UFC!
Isn't he fighting Tony Ferguson in March? I would like to see him back in MMA, but it might make sense for Conor to fight Pacman, as not expected to win in boxing and bigger money
Def more money for him in boxing, the Tony Ferguson fight makes more sense though, if he takes any other fight first he should vacate his belt!
Tony fight is too risky as he might lose his belt, and also less money. But a champ should be actively defending. Yes i hope he fights Tony first before going to boxing again
