That is pretty cool boulder! I'm with @shasta, wondering at how the country looked to LaSalle back in the 1600s. I would have loved to send it then.
It must have looked amazing, and the people must have been much hardier then we are today...lol
I would like to be able to go back in time and spend a day in a Native village, and a day in ancient Rome.
I wonder if the mosquitoes were as bad for LaSalle as they are today. He would have had very little way to escape them.

Howdy sir karbon! oh that's interesting! That's kind of a famous boulder then, obviously. Most boulders don' thave plaques on them. lol. very cool!
