Hi @shasta i haven't done a #bouldersunday as yet so this will be my first i have come across lots of boulders and rocks in my time but for some reason they have never been in the line of my camera but these two particular boulders that i spotted while on the white sandy beach of Koh Mook in the South of Thailand down near Phuket , drew my attention because they were very unusual.

A few days before we arrived on this island we heard there had been big storms and heavy seas by the time we got there it had all calmed down and cleared up and these two boulders had been washed ashore it seemed because the seaweed and moss was still fresh looking around these two boulders but what made them stand out more was all these oyster shells that were attached all over these two boulders very remarkable to look at made these boulders look like a piece of art.

oh shit man that rock gives me trypophobia 😆

but i love the concept of #bouldersunday
kinda reminds me of the rock simulator :)

It reminds me of the Predator's skull or a Alien skull that has fallen from outer space ...lol :)

yes alien trypophobia :)

Haha...indeed :)

Look at that rock😨 the first one looked like a skull, the second looked like octopus 😃 whooaaa.. incredibly amazing @hangin! Get that man away from the rock please... 😂😂😂

Haha...you have a great imagination it does look like a big Alien skull ....lol :)

I think you took it in the right angle so it does look like an alien skull from here😊 and that's amazing!

Yep this is true and it wasn't intentionally :)

Wow what a awesome first boulder Sunday @hangin!!
Looks like a giant tile mosaic fossilized head of
something in the top photo! Must of been a heck of
a storm, the seaweed looks a lot like big agates! :-)
Thank you so much for using the #bouldersunday tag!
These are fantastice boulders!

Thank you @shasta you are right looking at it closer it looks like a big Alien skull that has fallen from outer space..lol :)

WOW that for sure is such an interesting boulder I have never seen one quite like that

No neither have i pretty sure this boulder was living in deeper waters till some how it got washed ashore it would mark a great landscape ornament :)

Yeah I think you are right makes one wonder what force of nature moved it there, and yes it would look so cool in the right sort of garden

I would love to have it in my front yard...lol :)

I have never seen anything like those! They are huge. I am so glad you got photos of them and shared them for #bouldersunday.

Neither had i till i saw these ones i just couldn't believe how every part of thes two boulder were covered all over with oyster shells was a amazing find :)

I don't know anything about oysters, but being out in the sun will they die and dry up and then fall off the rock that they're attached to? If that's the case you were really lucky to see them while they were still fresh and attached!

Oh no really come on you kidding me have you not eaten oysters in the shell mixed with a dash of lemon yummy. What remains on the rock is just the empty shell like a fossil :)

I love oysters and eat them whenever I am near the sea, but the ones available here are sold frozen. So if it is an empty shell on the rocks, where did the oysters go?

The Aliens ate them....Na i am not sure if the boulder was underwater before it hit the surface maybe some other under water creatures ate them , that's my guess :)

That makes sense! I am rather mystified by the ways of the sea!

Seas are beautiful to look at but deep under i am sure there is a lot of mysteries things happening down below :)

Howdy sir hangin! Wow look at all those shells covering all over, I've never seen that happen before, you see something new everyday on steemit. And it's usually on hangin's posts! lol.

Haha..i try not to bring the same if i can help it , it's always exciting to find something different to show makes Steemit more interesting and also my first time to see something as beautiful as that it would go well as part of my landscape in my front yard..lol :)

ha! A boulder like that in your front yard would certainly get alot of attention! People would climb on it just to get their picture taken on that thing!

It would be a classic and maybe start charging a fee for picture taking...lol :)
