Borders- For betterment or Just to gain power for some people

Can We imagine border-less life? Can we live without borders? It's a question one should ask to self. How the borders started? Are borders same in ancient time? Actually borders in human history were made by nature. Those borders were not human made. Natural borders like River, Mountain, deserts, Forests etc..

In early era of human life, Food was in sufficient quantity. People had enough food in terms of fruits or vegetables or had sufficient hunting grounds. So people don't even think of crossing borders because they are having enough of food with them. Slowly with the increase in the size of family members of tribal ,shortage of food started. They started crossing borders for food. So this brought blood fight among different tribal community. To increase the population( to Strengthen the power of community), people started stealing Women of other tribal community. So From then people started making artificial borders.

People are continuously drawing boundary lines. But its again up to the mind of human being. Now there are boundary lines and strict security forces deployed on borders. Now borders shows the psychological and cultural aspects of people living. Now people's identity is depend on borders. People created borders but their identity is depend on having a sense of border.

Borders are to distinct countries what fences are to neighbors. It mean something is different from what lies on other side. I agrees that borders bring sense of belonging-ness among human of same territory. But then why we started inter- border trade. Why globalization came in the picture. It's because we are incomplete as an individual or a isolated group.

Borders give an identity to nation. Nation preserves the culture. People visit other countries to feel the differences. But sometimes i think of people living in Syria and Sudan and countries where life of people is like hell. Human created borders for the betterment of people living within particular territory. law made in each country is for the personal preference of each individual and to maintain harmony within state. but Do we think there is not a thirst of power? People want to dominant others. They need power and power brings major ego and ego is the root of problems. So if we want a world without border, there should be true sense of brotherhood. And this can be possible only in dreams.

Borders are fine for controlling governments but the issue is they are very bad in controlling people. Is it fault of an individual who took birth in Economic dessert country or the country where civil war is going on? it's the fault of people who are in power.

I am happy to see the change in people. We feel now that its wrong to discriminate against someone on the basis of religion, caste, race etc. Its a good thing towards creating a new world. I hope in coming years, people will change the meaning of borders.
