Sharpening The Saw

To be effective individuals, we must devote time to renewing and bettering ourselves physically, spiritually, mentally, and socially. Exercise in the four dimensions must be done daily.

Physical:

  • Eat well - Lean proteins, good greens and healthy fats.
  • Rest - Eight hours of uninterrupted sleep.
  • Exercise - Endurance/Flexibility/Strength.

Spiritial:

  • Practice daily meditation. A great App to get started on this is "Headspace".
  • Get Immersed in great literature or music.

Mental:

  • Keep a journal of your thoughts, experiences and insights.
  • Read and keep learning.

Social:

  • Seek to deeply understand other people. Learn about what drives and motivates them.
  • Contribute to something meaningful that will improve the lives of others.
  • Maintain an Abundance mentality and seek to help others find success.
