This is the first story in the Green Rider series. Karigan is running away from school and ends up running into a dying mystical Green Rider. Who asks her to get his message to the king she is now pursued by the very same assassins who killed the original rider. The story is full of magic, mystery and fantasy. Once I started this book I couldn’t put it down. What was truly intriguing was that it was the first book that Kristen Britain had ever written. The characters are so well written. The next book in the series is,he First Rider’s Call.
