Compute for Cancer (kickstarter project)
A team from San Francisco collects money at Kickstarter.com for their project "Compute for Cancer" until the 30th of December, 2017.

The software is based on the BOINC source code und it seems to run the BOINC project World Community Grid.

Not clear enough. The page is missing summary of "We do this, for this, using this." If that was there, I would consider donating. Too many pretty pictures and videos.
I downloaded their android app and at the moment your are only able to log in with an Facebook account. I think this is really poor.
