BMW is now making a driverless motorcycle!

BMW Motorrad introduced a self-contained version of the R1200GS, a motorcycle that developed for more than two years . The published video, can start to work without a rider, accelerate, turn and stand on its own. But it is worth not to wait for this motosikletletin to be seen on the road in a short time. The company says it has developed a motorcycle not just for consumers, but for having more information about how to implement new safety features for self-driving techniques.

"The prototype helps us to expand our knowledge of the vehicle's dynamics, so we can classify the driver's behavior and determine whether a future situation is dangerous," says Stefan Hans, a motorrad safety engineer. "If so, we can give information, warn or intervene directly." The motorcycle will be used to develop new security systems aimed at supporting inattentive drives.

Although the cars had a lot of driving assistance, the motorcycles did not have such new features. Therefore, it can be said that it is interesting to see how BMW Motorrad develops a safety feature with its own driving motorcycle.
