mientras escondías tu miedo,
ella sumida en el desespero,
en medio de tal desastre,
su incertidumbre calmaste,
apretándola a tu pecho.
y en segundos recordaste,
ese día en el que nació,
su primer pastel de fiesta,
su primer día de escuela,
y tu corazón lloró.
para mitigar su angustia,
mientras pedías al supremo,
que el dolor ya no existiera,
que su voluntad fuera
en medio de la penumbra.
Seguro la abrazaste
y en ese último instante,
le obsequiaste una sonrisa
que dijo que la amarías
aún después de la vida.
Ese abrazo fue tan fuerte,
como siempre tu lo hacías,
el miedo ya no existía,
el dolor fue pasajero,
y ahora juntos en el cielo,
a ellas esperarían...
