The reality of this is, most travel bloggers are actually digital nomads so they've got an income supporting them on their journeys. I have landed gigs that allow me to work so I can work anywhere.
Let's do a reality check and set the expectations. You are not likely to make thousands of dollars on your first few weeks (let alone the initial year) of travel blogging, span. Forget about having a travel blog that will finance your journeys in the start. You will have to fork out the initial investment to your travels so you'll have something to write and blog about. I know there is a good deal of sites out there which makes outlandish claims which you can earn thousands of dollars but first, you need to subscribe to their own newsletter or accept their program.
One more thing, Travel Blogging requires hard work and intense dedication even without visiting the benefits for months. Some bloggers will not see a penny from each of their attempts even after two years of blogging. However, if you are serious about it and also have a passion to write great content, you will eventually see the benefits.

Traveling blogging is a small pond with more fish in it compared to seven seas. Nine-five percentage of people who start a travel blog give up after the initial year. Nine-five percentage of those that remain earn next to nothing from their travel sites. I know the temptation, traveling the world while being paid, who would not want this?

I don't mean to scare you. But you have to keep your feet on the floor and don't put yourself up for a massive disappointment. But people are always hungry for amazing content -- there is still a great deal of opportunities for traveling bloggers that take awesome pictures, entertaining content, and videos.
