If you have a business, then no doubt you will have a website (even if it is a very simple 4-5 page one.). Maintaining an online presence is important for any business, it allows new customers/clients to find your products and / or services as well as a point of reference for contact information and so forth. As well as having a website, it is also important to ensure that you are on the major social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin and so forth, these should all be linked back to your website and from your website, so customers can also follow you for news and updates.
Other online presences that you should consider is Google business, this will also help people find your website, products and / or services that you offer. And you may also want to encourage your customers to leave feedback on the many review sites out there, the more mentions you can get on the internet and across platforms and sites, the better for your Search Engine Optimisation, (With the exception of link farms which will only damage your rankings.)
