What really is time?

Cambridge Advanced Learners Dictionary defined time as;

"that part of existence which is measured in seconds, minutes, hours, days, weeks, months etc, or this process considered as a whole.

I read somewhere that;

"We exist in time, our existence is measured by time"

I hear people say, "there isn't enough time, life is short"
According to Einstein,

"the dividing line between past, present and future is an illusion, we have all the time in the world"

Do we? This, you will answer by yourself at the end of this post.

According to the first definition of time, it is measured in days.

My favorite book says;

"Teach us to number our days, so we can apply our hearts to wisdom"

There are seven days in a man's life, it is important to know the day he's living in.

Monday(0-10yrs) - This is the season of discovery.
There is something inside you, that you've been wired for, this is the season to discover it. Parents play a major role in this season. They should be able to know by observation, the things the child is naturally inclined to, and guide the child through that path.
Great sportsmen like Tiger Woods and the William sisters discovered what they were wired for in this season, and their parents did well to guide them in that path.

Tuesday(11-20yrs) - This is the season of practice.
What you've discovered about yourself, this season is the perfect time to practice and perfect it. But the thing is, you can't practice what you've not discovered.

Wednesday(20-30yrs) - This is the season of performance.
This is the season of displaying of competence. You can't perform what you've not practiced, and you can't practice what you've not discovered.

Thursday(31-40) - This is the season of mastering.
By your thursday, you must be a master of something.
You can't master what you've not performed, you can't perform what you've not practiced and you can't practice what you've not discovered.

Friday(40-50yrs) - Season of mentoring and multiplication.
In this season, you should be able to produce more people like you; mentoring them to be successful like you've been. You can't mentor or multiply what you've not mastered, you can't master what you've not performed, you can't perform what you've not practiced.

Saturday(51-60yrs) - Season of recreation.
This is the season of Re-creating yourself. There should be a person or persons like you, the ones you've invested in, re-creating yourself in them.
You can't re-create what you've not mentored and multiplied, you can't mentor and multiply what you've not mastered, you can't master what you've not performed, you can't perform what you've not practiced, and you can't practice what you've not discovered.

Sunday(61-70yrs) - Season of rest and rejuvenation.
This is the season where you rest from all your work. Enjoying everything you've achieved, acquired and made for yourself. Make sure, you don't work on your weekend. Do all you can to avoid working in this season of your life.
You can't rest or rejuvente when you've not re-created yourself, you can't re-create yourself when you've not mentored and multiplied, you can't mentor and multiply what you've not mastered, you can't master what you've not performed, you can't perform what you've not practiced, and you can't practice what you've not discovered.

You're not here on earth to count days, you're here to make days count.
You were sent here to discover, your responsibility is to deliver.
If you fail to discover, you'll be a slave to your past.

In my part of the world, old men of around 55 to 65yrs or thereabout can be seen posing as security men and as gatemen. They lack the strenght and energy to effectively perform as security personnels. They couldn't number their days, hence applying their hearts to wisdom on what to do per time. So, they work on their weekends.

Know what day you are living in, and do what you should.

Death gives time all it's value

You won't live forever, make each day count.

Only if we could master the art of managing our time. It starts majorly by creating priorities because I've found out even very busy people still have things they attend to. Those things are usually of top priorities to them. Thanks for sharing

So true, ccreating priorities is paramount. Thanks for stopping by.
