If you are not sure what to buy or bring to a university, it is better to go there with the very basic essentials. This way you won't end up buying unnecessary things. Plus, it is easier to buy them locally instead of carrying them all the way from home.

I somehow feel that as a sloppy guy student, i can survive with way less.. But then again, I'm the "Start the year with 2 pencils, end the end with 6 boxes of stationery" kind of guy...
I guess it helps with my anxiety about starting a new semester in a new place. And being prepared with enough things help me to feel at ease.
