Collission of Two Religions

in #blog5 years ago

Hinduism and Buddhism are two of the major religion in my country NEPAL. Statistically, According to the Census which was held in 2001 showed that 80.62% percent of Nepalese were Hindu, 10.74% were Buddhist which means 91.36% of people right here in Nepal are spitted among two religions.

We are proudly a secular country. Named as a country of piece, no bloods are shed, no man has lost his family for religions.

The picture below is a screenshot of a Nepali movie, which I have watched recently, and itself represent two of the religions as the red tika in his forehead represents Hinduism and white tika represents Buddhism.

These are two religions originated from EAST ASIA. Both are same same but the different religions, which is quite complicated.

SIMILARITY :-
*Buddhism and Hinduism share a strong belief in reincarnation; an endless cycle of births and deaths that must be broken.
DIFFERENCE :-
*Buddhism has no “rituals” in the traditional sense. They don’t do elaborate prostrations or pujas (prayer rituals) as Hindus . There are not even priests, though they do have senior monastics.
