Being happy. Ditch the positive and focus on the negative...

Things are simple.

People make them complicated.
Cultural Marxism makes them insane. This is relevant.
(This is not a political post, though - this is a self help sort yourself out, post).

Self help books sprang out from the 1960's hippie movement all the way up to present day, and, coincidentally, into a multi billion dollar industry.
Some argue that this was there a demand for it.
Other's might say there was demand falsely created , due to very manipulative people who understood human psychology...

The 'self help' philosophy wasn't even in people's consciousness until then. Coincidence...?

Previous to that -you just got on with life - because as biological units, that's what we do.
When's the last time you saw a dog adopt the lotus position, and face the sunrise?

So, let's deal in some facts. (those pesky facts again).

We are a biological units. You can't mantra your way out of that. It's a fact.
This seems a solid basis to work from then, doesn't it? ('yes' is the correct answer).

Okay, as a biological unit, we work within our own biological systems. We are not masters of these, but servants of these.
Recognize this fact.

'We are what we eat' is not a throw away one liner (or it shouldn't be if you have a scrap of intelligence).

We are... literally.. that.
Your body right now, is the culmination of everything that you have stuffed into you mouth over the past few years. I'll use 'literally' once more, just to labor the point.

If you have been shoveling nothing but crap into your mouth, on what planet do you think you're suddenly gonna find that your body is a temple ? (A tenement block with no lighting, maybe - but no temple..).
Without goof food - good chemicals - your temple ain't gonna happen, and looking at your shakra's for ten hours a day will not change the biological composition of your biological unit._ . Deal with it.

Only the correct chemicals can do this for you. Foods are chemicals. Another fact.

Okay, lets move on to some harsh realities. (the food chemical reality should be causing deep shock to more people than makes me happy, but hey - I'm here to make you happier, not hold your hand).

Our very efficient bodily systems work on...wait for it....you're not gonna like this...

NEGATIVE FEEDBACK LOOPS.

Yup. Not positive ones. (well they do- but it's mostly not good, I'll get to that part, in while).

For arguments sake, lets just say for now... Our entire bodily functions process works on negative feedback loops.

What's negative feedback loop, I hear you ask? (hopefully not as you already know).

In many physical and biological systems, qualitatively different influences can oppose each other. For example, in biochemistry, one set of chemicals drives the system in a given direction, whereas another set of chemicals drives it in an opposing direction

Negative feedback loops enable stability, unlike positive feedback loops. (They create expansion and insatiability.)

Given that we are an operating system working on negative feedback loops, on what planet is it rational to think that 'being happy' is found through not utilizing the most basic method of stability we have, that is running through our entire being?

Using that system to look at things seems to be using a system that is symbiotic with our own biological unit.
Ergo not using that system is counter to how our natural rhythms organize themselves..

OK, ...A little bit of politics – it's not any real surprise is it? - that in this cultural marxist push to create chaos and instability, that this 'positivity' self help angle of propaganda was pushed so much, is it? ....All logic is inverted.

How do we utilize negative feed back loops to become happier?... that is the question.

No it's not, dumb ass! That's the wrong fucking question!

How about.... Do we understand how negative feed back loops work, so we can apply them to our lives?

....There, that's a much better question.
Why?

Because if we understand how negative feedback loops work to create homeostasis (stability) in our own biology, the same principles can be applied in life...
We can understand that the emotional state of happiness will occur as a bi product of this understanding. Not as an aim, but a bi product.

A state of happiness is not a goal, it's an emotion. Happiness is a preferred state of being... but not a goal.

It is an emotional state reflective of making good choices previously in your life. You made decisions to create that state. ('deciding' to be happy is delusion).

Emotional states are just that, and nothing more...they are not constant and forever on cyclical in nature. Highs and lows are part and parcel of this.
(Being manically happy is an example of a positive feedback loop...)

Being in sync with your own bodies negative feedback systems, will stabilize your environment.
Thus it will increase the chances of being happy...... it won't last forever, but nothing ever does, deal with it...

...I'll leave you do work out the application of this system. Don't chase happiness, work out the negative feedback loops that create stability, and you never know...you might just find yourself happy..!

Oh and use the self help books for kindling on your barbecue – They are all probably made from ecological friendly pulp, so you don't feel too bad about adding some CO2 into the system.
That's plant food, btw. Plants like food.
