Commitment| My Twisted #Seven777 Involvement... Say No to 50/50

I have been thinking lately of how I can contribute to @nathanmar's #seven777 for 777days. Now, if you know me then you know I honestly do not like to exercise, and I certainly don't want to post myself doing it. Just looking at all my former corporate colleagues on my twitter followers list is reason enough to not wanna do it.

Just a little over a week ago my former boss dropped in for a quick hello and I couldn't imagine her having to come to my feed and see what I have resolved to, in this case, public display of my exercise routine. There's nothing wrong with this really, but considering my former role in that organization, I'd say it's not something that would be appealing if I was still working there. Truth is, I would like to keep that door open, because I don't know for sure how long I can do Steem Fulltime.

Recently, I read a post by @nonsowrites where he stated

The thing is most steemians are ashamed of this blockchain. They like it; they believe in the vision, but to many, it is too premature to share.

I kind of agree on the premature part, in as much as we are working very hard in creating awareness and working towards mass adoption, we have a long way to go before we can declare Steem a proper working product. A lot has to do with community tag of wars on the way forward for the platform. We need to be on the same page of where we want to go as a blockchain otherwise we'd be working on totally different goals, and that will never work. What comes to mind is the proposed 50/50 rewards system which I am completely against. I haven't found one single reason that would warrant me to support it as a content creator. It seems like it is just another way to enrich the rich and take away from the hard working content creators. While others would argue there;s going to be alot more manual curation, I prefer to not assume, I like to work facts. What if there is not enough manual curation? Then what? Content creators like myself who do this fulltime will have lost a great deal. Also, I feel it will drive away the already struggling, active creators

I don't think majority of the average internet users quite comprehend the blockchain and cryptocurrency concepts yet, and If I'm being honest, I would not be particularly comfortable at this moment to approach any investors with the current state of the platform until the dust settles. But I am passionate about creating awareness of the Steem Blockchain and empowering youths to leverage the opportunity this platform seeks to offer and empower themselves financially in the very near future, which would explain why I am hard at work on my Youtube Channel Coming to Life.

All this to say, I may not be able to take part in the #seven77 exercise challenge. But I am willing to commit to at least 1 Tweet A Day About Steem for 777days #steem #steemblockchain.
