How to transform your world!
Very often we are so concerned and worried about those around us that we forget to focus on our own needs. And your initial response may be "we have to help others", "it's our duty to help others, or even "focusing on ourselves is selfish"! Well, all those statements would be incorrect because unless you yourself are coming from a space filled with love, joy and happiness you will not be able to help others anyway.
Each of us has to learn to re-focus from the negative to the positive aspects in our lives, and once we are fully tuned into our positive vibration, those around us will pick it up and are automatically influenced, especially our children. And that is how we help them: we lead by example!

A few years ago I came across a book called "Ask and it shall be given" written by Esther & Jerry Hicks. This book changed my life! It made me realize that things are not half as complicated as we believe them to be.
If you are interested to learn more about creating your own reality and how to receive exactly that which you have asked for, I strongly suggest you read the book. Anyway, over the next few weeks, I will share a post every now and then with one of their quotations. I hope you enjoy them!

Great posting @claudiaz! You're so right, for so long we've been taught if we take care of ourselves first it's selfish. You can't keep feeding people with an empty bowl.
I love Abraham Hicks well Esther LOL. I have downloaded the work book and actually need to start up again. She's a good speaker, keeps you interested.
