A trip to the kampung
I've always enjoyed going back to the kampung ( village ) where life is stripped off all its unnecessities and you get back to basics. Come to think about it , if you are living out the last few good years how would you live it and where ?
My mum and a friend over decades of friendship and they never fail to get excited each time they meet with each other. You can feel the excitement in their voice and also in their eyes.
The place I visited was at Holy Family Residence in Papar , Kota Kinabalu. Its really a nice place with beauty all around it. On a clear day you are able to see Mount Kinabalu.
One great thing about being in the Kampung is that , your groceries grows on trees and its as fresh as it gets without any chemicals or preservatives ?
Heck even the chicken expects you to look for its eggs ...
Everyone has their own superheroes ... here are mine , as they have always been there in times of need and they always seems to understand you best.

Sounds like a wonderful place to be, especially in old age. I love the papaya tree. That was one of my favourite fruits when I was a kid. And the free-range, lean chicken with the strong muscles :)
