I am so sorry both for your loss and the fact the criminals weren't brought to justice. It's difficult to fathom the mentality of people who would do this to another human being. We need all of the light we can possibly get in the world and your uncle sounds like he was a shining light for many!
Thank you Eric, yes it would at least have felt that justice was served if these thugs were found and sentenced, and one could at least put that to rest. But you're right they killed a shining light, someone who brought so much joy and who generously passed on his skills and would empty his purse to those in need! He had the knack of making everyone feel like a king or queen, a very special man indeed! I still miss the nightly phone calls and the laughter, wish we could talk just one more time!
