INTRODUTION
Health they say is Wealth and everyone who is alive needs to have a good and sustainable health care system in order to enjoy good living.
Similarly, in providing a sound health care, patients are often required to to provide their medical data. Medical data comprises of all the information pertaining to a patients' health background (hereditary factors, symptoms, prescriptions and treatments etc) and most times their insurance coverage.

However, the present day's medical records and data are highly centralised and often times restricted from the possession/control of patients. For example, a health practitioner sources and creates a medical records of his patient and directly transfers such to another physician when the need arises because they are the data reservoirs. But all these are without the full participation of such patients. What if such patient is not comfortable with the new physician having their records/treating them?

Medical researchers are also at a dilemma when it comes to sourcing for and acquiring of medical data for their research analysis. They may acquire data but are not authorized to use it to a professional extent and these are limiting factors to medical (biological /technological) innovations.
Again we can't forget the reports that came from the Department of Health and human services office for Human Rights which states that about one thousand medical data records have been unlawfully exposed. How about those that get misplaced or lost due to hacks or natural disasters?. This means that the conventional data storage methods are not secured enough to ward off hacks and attacks.

But with the advent of internet and social media, the perception and outreach of medical care has changed. People are now more enlightened and wouldn't mind sharing their health information or seeking for a health solution online. This looks inviting but the required medical details these health workers needed to make accurate diagnoses and decision are lacking.
Also, a patient may have an emergency, but must be rushed to his/her registered hospital because that's where their health records are. And remember that physicians don't treat you without knowing your medical data.
So incase of migration or natural Hazard, a patient has to start running tests, scans, X-ray etc all over.

Now the question is how can we solve this situation and improve the quality and accessibility of an adequate, functional health care system?

MEDIBLOC BACKGROUND
MEDIBLOC is a decentralised and scalable platform that grants patients a full access and control of their medical data records making it possible for them to participate in their health procurement and possible sharing of medical data to relevant personnel.

This maybe in the form of changing a physician or prescription. The patient tends to cooperate better during treatment. Like wise sharing the info with a third party as a case study or IoT (internet of Things) where they will get paid with MED/MEDX tokens or MP (for and between Medibloc community members).

Patients have the right to also decline public access to their data if they so desire.
And close relatives or next of kin would be required to give permission if the account holder is in a critical or unconscious state.

USE CASE
Nancy comes from a very poor background. She had three siblings and they lost their parents in a car accident. Nancy was 21yrs and the youngest child was 10yrs old then.
