Innosilicon A9 Zmaster 50 Ksol/S Wanted To Beat Bitmain Products
Innosilicon has just announced their ASIC ZMaster A9 miners for the algorithm used by Equihash Zcash (ZEC) and the other coins that seem capable of 50000 Sol/s 620W power use only with.
This significantly exceeds the already announced Bitmain Antminer Z9 mini which is supposed to offer 10 Ksol/s with 300W power usage, but what makes us scowl here is the price Innosilicon want to charge you for this device.
Price Innosilicon A9 ZMaster must be paid to the amount of $9999 USD including PSU though the miners seem to have available a limited number of 300 units with delivery scheduled to begin on June 10.
A9 ZMaster expensive enough at least for batch 1, but seems to want to beat the Innosilicon Bitmain in releasing first products more powerful, even in a limited number of charging and the price is pretty expensive for a device.
The planned second batch delivery will begin on 15 August, but at that price should be much lower, especially considering that even Bitmain has announced lower prices for the next batch of mini Z9.
In the meantime, we may soon see more manufacturers are coming out with ASIc-based devices Equihash and this should further lower prices, especially if there is not much demand for the hard disk with current market conditions.
