What Is Crowd Machine?

Crowd Machine is a platform that uses transparent and efficient aspects of the blockchain and is meant to essentially replace cloud computing services such as AWS and Microsoft Azure [1].

How Does It Work?

Much like other cloud computing services, Crowd Machine not only allows people with little to no programming experience, but also saves time for people who already know how to code. Unlike other cloud computing services, however, Crowd Machine is a network that runs decentralized applications and pays those involved. Its most important feature is crowd computing, meaning that users contribute some power to the network, and in return, Crowd Machine will pay you for your contribution using their own token called Crowd Machine Token (CMCT). Crowd Machine hopes to eventually solve issues seen in the market such as scalability and larger blockchain adoption [2].

How Will It Change Cloud Computing?

This new platform will change how cloud computing is done because now people with little to no experience in programming can work on an idea with no worry at all. Much like existing cloud computing services, people who don't know much about programming can create what they want for their business without having to spend much time learning the necessary syntax and mechanics of the necessary programming languages. And anyone who already knows how to code doesn't have to spend hours trying to create new code when they can just use snippets of code or the Crowd App Studio [1].

Conclusion

Crowd Machine will drastically change the way in which cloud computing works. In many ways, it's still similar to existing cloud computing services, but the blockchain technology involved will definitely play a huge part in the way we get our ideas online.
