I'd like to announce Lykke for Steemit community. Lykke is a movement to build a global marketplace for all assets and instruments.
General information
Our marketplace will use the distributed ledger technology pioneered by Bitcoin to offer immediate settlement and direct ownership. The ultimate goal of Lykke is to enable every person on the world to have market access and be able to issue his currencies. If we succeed, we can establish human rights for market access and issuance of means of payment.
The distributed ledger technology offers a unique opportunity to rewire the financial system and create a highly efficient financial system. We will use the technology as a global notary service to record and settle any type of transaction. We will build one global marketplace, where any asset from around the world can be traded and exchanged for any other asset at a fair market price. Initially, we will focus on foreign exchange and will expand to money market instruments, bonds, equities, etc. We will earn our revenues from microscopic transaction fees of the volume traded on our exchange. Our software is open source.
Lykke is Swiss registered company that is crowd based at all levels.
Funding and share information:
There exist 1,250,000,000 Lykke coins (LKK). 100 coins represent 1 share in the legal entity. Lykke AG is based in Zurich Switzerland. The founder of the project is public and has considerable background, having founded Oanda, one of the largest Forex brokers.
Lykke has recently closed an investment round of 0.5 Mio CHF with angel investors at a valuation of 15 Mio CHF. We are adjusting the bid and ask price per share to 1.40 and 1 CHF, which corresponds to 0.014 and 0.01 CHF per Lykke coin. The bid and ask quotes will change in response to demand and supply

A total of 100,000 LKK (circa 1,000 CHF) has been awarded to contributions, i.e. posing interesting questions or contributing content to the wiki, forum posts, etc.

Good points in this post. Same mindset here. The coin market will be turbulent for the upcoming year(s) but I really believe in the blockchain as a technology.
