The first solution presented by BlackBerry is dedicated to network operations and the goal is to make the storage of medical data and its transfer much safer. The first to try this tool is the Global Commission, an organization that seeks to eradicate diseases in children.

Additionally BlackBerry has made a second announcement about a new operating system for medical devices that is based only on security, called QNX OS for Medical 2.0.
