I really like the idea and have played. Now the game is kind of stuck and I think will end soon enough with the new rules the devs put in place. Dan larimer himself seems to be very interested in it as has been hanging out on its Telegram group.
I saw the idea first here on steem called Steem pixels last year. In many ways it is a pyramid scheme but the whales will be left holding the can.
Looking forward to see how this genre of game progresses.
